Handmade Holiday ideas
A fellow blogger (a more elequent and frequent blogger than I) came up with a wonderful idea for sharing handmade/homemade holiday ideas. Do you have something to share?
Please visit her blog FIMBY - Fun in My Backyard for more information, and perhaps some inspiration too!

Jewelry
Sunny day in Maine! Sorting through my handmade jewelry to possibly sell at some upcoming vendor events! Nursing necklaces, nursing bracelets... glass beads, wooden beads, clay beads, semi-precious stones... necklaces and earrings just for fun, a few anklets...
Should maybe put a few things in my etsy shop as well!

Some CPSIA Exemptions!
A small victory for us home handcrafters of childrens toys, the Consumer Product Safety Commission agreed to exempt natural products such as gems and cotton from mandatory testing for lead, as reported yesterday on Bloomberg news:

There's still work to be done however, please vote for change, Save Small Business From the CPSIA : A Proposal From the handmadetoyalliance.org
